Baghdad, The Federal Police arrested 14 foreigners who violated the residency conditions in Maysan. The Ministry of the Interior stated in a statement that: 'The detachments of the 1st Brigade of the Federal Police, within the sectors of responsibility in Al-Majidiyah area in Maysan Governorate, carried out an inspection and audit operation during which (14) foreign workers violating the residency conditions were arrested. They were duly referred to the competent authorities.' It added: "The arrest was made within the framework of security campaigns carried out by federal police units in accordance with the directives of the Supreme authorities in pursuing foreigners who violate residency conditions and who reside illegally inside Iraq of various nationalities."
