Federal Police Command forces arrested two defendants and seized a vehicle loaded with expired medicines in Baghdad.
The Command stated in a statement: A force from the 19th Brigade, 5th Division, Federal Police, in conjunction with the brigade’s intelligence detachments and a detachment from the National Security, and through security practices and careful inspection, was able to arrest 2 drug traffickers in the “Ur neighborhood” area northeast of the city. The capital, Baghdad, without obtaining a permit from the relevant authorities authorizing them to trade or transport, as a Nissan vehicle was seized containing various expired and unlicensed medications. They were referred, along with the vehicle and the seized materials, to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal and investigative procedures against them.
