The FIFA has concluded a three-day workshop at its headquarters in Zurich, with the participation of more than 70 members of the National Associations Division. FIFA President Gianni Infantino highlighted the important role played by the National Associations Division in making football a truly global game. Infantino said during his speech at the dialogue session, "Globality requires presence at the local level. We must be present everywhere. Everyone must feel that they are part of FIFA, as every national association is part of it," adding, "This is something we have not achieved yet, and we must achieve it, and the FIFA series is moving in this direction, as are competitions and youth championships. But I am convinced that with your presence in the offices spread around the world, we are able to do a lot and make national and continental associations feel that they embody FIFA." The FIFA Series kicked off in March 2024, providing a first-of-its-kind opportunity for many mens national teams to play teams f rom outside their own confederations. The initiative is a model for FIFAs efforts to provide opportunities for more national associations to play a leading role in organising and participating in its competitions and tournaments.
