Riyadh, Yousef Abdullah Humood, Undersecretary for Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, led Bahrain's delegation at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group annual meeting, on behalf of the Minister of Finance and National Economy. The meeting was held under the title "Proud of our past and envisioning our future.. Authenticity, solidarity, and prosperity." The meeting discussed the Bank Group's financial performance, the realignment of the Islamic Development Bank strategy (2023 - 2025), 2023 performance, governance enhancement initiatives, and unifying joint efforts between the bank and member states for development cooperation. This year's annual meeting coincides with the Islamic Development Bank's 50th anniversary and its ongoing efforts to advance economic and social development in its member countries.
