Baghdad Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sheikh Salem Abdullah Jaber Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to discuss the Israeli military aggression against the Palestinian people, which was held today, Wednesday at the headquarters of the organization’s General Secretariat in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they discussed the latest developments in the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Gaza Strip, especially the crime of bombing the Hospital in Gaza, which led to the martyrdom and wounding of hundreds of innocent citizens.

The Minister affirmed the firm position of the Iraqi people and government towards the Palestinian issue, and its standing by the Palestinian people in achieving their aspirations and obtaining their full legitimate rights./End
