Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, received today, Wednesday, copies of the credentials of the ambassadors of the Netherlands, Janet Antine, Spain, Elicia Rico, and the Czech Republic, Jan Schindlov, residing in Iraq, at the ministry building in Baghdad. The minister stressed during his meeting with the ambassadors, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, each separately, that Iraq's foreign policy is based on establishing balanced and solid relations aim to enhance political, economic and trade cooperation, and overcoming differences and tensions in the region through dialogue. The meeting also discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and ways to stop Israeli violations and the efforts made in this regard. According to the statement, the minister expressed his wishes for the new ambassadors to succeed in performing their duties in Iraq, stressing the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide all support to diplomatic missions in a way that enhances relations of friendship and cooperation between Iraq and their countries. For their part, the ambassadors expressed their thanks and appreciation to the minister, expressing their aspiration to develop relations with Iraq in various fields in a way that enhances common bonds.
