Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, headed the coordination meeting for the ninth Regional Security Summit of the Manama Dialogue.
Representatives of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), and a number of concerned ministries and government bodies were present.
The undersecretary affirmed the importance of the IISS Manama Dialogue, organised with the Foreign Affairs Ministry, in highlighting and analysing regional and global political issues and developments.
He reviewed the plans and arrangements for the upcoming IISS Manama Dialogue, which is scheduled to be held from November 17-19.
The minister emphasised Bahrain's keenness to provide all logistical and organisational support for this annual regional security summit, highlighting its role as an active partner in consolidating security, peace, and prosperity in the region and worldwide, as well as supporting sustainable development initiatives.
