Amman, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the ministerial coordination meeting hosted by Jordan in Amman. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ayman Al Safadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan. The meeting was attended by foreign ministers from the Arab-Islamic joint ministerial committee on Gaza, led by Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs. Attendees included the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, Trkiye's Foreign Minister, Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Egypt's Deputy Foreign Minister, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, and the Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The discussions centred on diplomatic efforts to secure a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, safeguard civilians, and expedite the delivery of humanitarian aid. The meeting also addressed steps to revive the peace process, pursu e the two-state solution, and end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. They coordinated diplomatic efforts in advance of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, aiming to bolster international recognition of an independent Palestinian state and rally global support for the Palestinian cause.
