Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian discussed during a phone call today with his Maltese counterpart Ian Borg the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.

During the call, the Iranian Foreign Minister stressed his country's opposition to the killing of children, women and civilians anywhere in the world.

For his part, the Maltese minister affirmed his country's position of rejecting the continuation of the fighting and the expansion of the war. He also noted the necessity of continuing efforts to reach a political solution to this crisis.
