Israeli medical sources announced that 4 Israelis were injured today, Sunday, with varying injuries, including one in critical condition and another in serious condition, as a result of a run-over operation that took place near Ramla at the Nir Zvi Junction south of Tel Aviv. Hebrew media reported that the condition of one of the soldiers injured in the operation is very serious, while another is in critical condition. Channel 12 reported, quoting an Israeli police spokesman, that "the event near Ramla was a double operation that included a run-over and shooting." Channel 13 reported that a Border Guard force was near the site and opened fire on the perpetrator, then later reported that "the perpetrator of the operation is from Kafr Aqab and holds an Israeli identity and was killed on the spot." The Israeli police commander in the central region reported that the perpetrator ran over several Israelis at a bus station and carried out another run-over operation hundreds of meters away from the first. For it s part, the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said that "the double operation in Ramla came in response to the assassination attempt on the commander of the Qassam Brigades, Mohammed Deif, the Mawasi massacre in Khan Yunis, and Hamas's call to escalate the resistance.
