The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of four accused of drug dealers and promoters in Al-Muthanna Governorate, and (17) other persons who violated the conditions of residency from different foreign nationalities in the center of the capital, Baghdad.

A statement by the Directorate stated: According to accurate intelligence information, the detachments of the Muthanna Intelligence and Security Directorate were able to arrest four accused of drug dealers and promoters in Al-Muthanna Governorate, and issued arrest warrants against them in accordance with the provisions of Articles (28, 32) of drugs of the Penal Code.

On the other hand, and through careful field follow-up, the detachments of the Intelligence and Security Directorate of Baghdad were able to arrest (17) violators of residency conditions of different foreign nationalities in the center of the capital, who entered the country illegally, and they were duly handed over to the competent authorities.
