Doha: The French Republic is set to participate in Milipol Qatar 2024, with the largest foreign pavilion in this extraordinary global event in the field of homeland security and civil defense. The event will kick off in Doha from Oct. 29-30, 2024. Comprising 24 firms, the French pavilion shines a spotlight on the cutting-edge technologies available in cybersecurity, protection of critical infrastructure, as well as counter-terrorism. HE Ambassador of the French Republic to the State of Qatar, Jean-Baptiste Favre, said the Qatar-France security relationship earned significant momentum with the visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to France last February, during which new agreements were signed, emphasizing that the Qatari-French cooperation to secure the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games was the key landmark. HE the Ambassador of the French Republic to the State of Qatar hailed the incredible success of the recent Olympic and Paralympic Games which underscored an extraordinary cooperation between the State of Qatar and the French Republic at the security level. Minister Delegate to the French Ministry of Interior, in charge of Security of Daily Life, Nicolas Daragon, will chair the French delegation participating in the inauguration of Milipol Qatar 2024. French firms participating in the Expo intend to bolster cooperation in military and industrial sectors, as well as law enforcement, in addition to forging local partnerships, as the Expo represents a unique opportunity to emerge among the bodies concerned with decision-making and advancing businesses in this accelerating market. Exhibitors are slated to offer innovative solutions, includ ing quantum computing, tactical equipment, and integrated monitoring systems, thus emphasizing the existing ironclad partnership between Qatar and France.
