Funeral of martyr Rashid Sedda in the village of Jit, east of Qalqilya

The residents of the village of Jit, east of Qalqilya Governorate, and the neighboring villages, today, Friday, bid farewell to the body of the young martyr Rashid Mahmoud Abdel Qader Sada (23 years old). The funeral procession of the martyr set off from Rafidia Hospital in Nablus in a procession of vehicles, heading towards the martyr's family home in the village of Jit, where a final farewell was given to him. The funeral prayer for the martyr Al-Saddah was held after Friday prayers in the old mosque, before the funeral procession toured the streets of the village amid chants denouncing the settlers' attack on the village, and the occupation's continued crimes against our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Then his body was buried in the village cemetery in the southern neighborhood. Qalqilya Governor Hussam Abu Hamdeh said during the funeral that the Israeli occupation has reached the peak of crimes and violations, disregarding international laws and norms, but on the contrary, it is escalatin g its measures, and this, if it indicates anything, indicates its complete confidence in escaping punishment, stressing the role of the international community and its responsibility to stop Israeli violations immediately, whether in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip. The young man, Sedda, was martyred last night, Thursday, due to his critical injury from live bullets to the chest, following an attack by a group of settlers on the village. Local sources reported that more than 100 settlers, including gunmen, attacked the village of Jit and opened fire on citizens, killing one person and wounding others, and burning 4 homes and 6 vehicles.
