Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi strongly condemned the brutal bombardment by the Israeli occupation forces of Al Fakhura school in Jabalia refugee camp, which shelters thousands of displaced persons.
He also condemned the repeated and ongoing brutal attacks by Israel on hospitals and refugee camps in the Gaza Strip, in a clear and direct violation by the Israeli occupation of international humanitarian law.
The GCC Secretary General affirmed the GCC's firm position calling for an end to the aggression on the Gaza Strip, and providing protection for Palestinian and international institutions that provide relief and basic services to citizens.
He also called on the international community to urgently move and fulfill its responsibilities to stop the brutal Israeli acts and work towards a political solution to the crisis.
