Doha: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi welcomed the diplomatic efforts undertaken by the State of Qatar and Turkiye to reach the ceasefire agreement that was signed by Pakistan and Afghanistan in Doha.

According to Qatar News Agency, the GCC Secretary-General noted that this agreement represents a positive step towards consolidating stability and strengthening bridges of trust between the two countries. He affirmed the GCC’s support for all initiatives aimed at establishing peace and promoting dialogue in the region and beyond, contributing to a more stable and prosperous future for peoples.
