The Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) welcomed restoration of diplomatic representation between the State of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, based on the Al-Ula agreement held in January 2021.

GCC Secretary-General Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi praised the blessed step which embodies the keenness of the leaders on the GCC march and the bonds of kinship, friendliness, brotherhood, history and common fate, as well as the unity of the GCC countries and the support for the joint Gulf action, to achieve the aspirations of the GCC people.
