DOHA: The price of gold in the Qatari market experienced a significant rise of 2.93 percent over the current week, reaching USD 2,710.34 per ounce. This increase is part of a broader upward trend in precious metal prices within the country. According to Qatar News Agency, data released by Qatar National Bank (QNB) highlighted the price escalation from USD 2,633.16 per ounce, as recorded last Sunday. The report further detailed gains in other precious metals, with silver prices increasing by 3.44 percent to USD 32.05 per ounce from USD 30.982 at the week's start. Platinum also saw a rise of 2.02 percent, reaching USD 951.00 per ounce, up from USD 932.15 per ounce recorded at the beginning of the week.
