Hamas: The six prisoners in Gaza killed as a result of Israeli bombing

Member of the Political Bureau of the Hamas Movement, Izzat al-Rishq said: The Israeli prisoners whose bodies were found in the Gaza Strip "were killed by the continuous Zionist bombing of the Strip." Al-Rishq added in a statement on Sunday on Telegram, hours after the Israeli army announced the discovery of the bodies of 6 Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip, and claimed that they were "killed in captivity by Hamas: "The one who kills our people daily is the occupation with American weapons, and the bodies of prisoners were found in the Gaza Strip, they were only killed by Zionist bombing." He also said: "If US President Joe Biden is keen on the lives of Israeli prisoners, he must stop supporting this enemy with money and weapons and pressure the occupation to end its aggression immediately." He considered that "the one who bears responsibility for the deaths of prisoners held by the resistance is the Israeli occupation, which insists on continuing the war of genocide and evading reaching a ceasefire agree ment, and the US administration because of its bias, support and partnership in this aggression." He stressed that "Hamas was more keen than Biden on the lives of its prisoners, and that is why it agreed to his proposal for a ceasefire and the Security Council resolution, while Netanyahu rejected them." Al-Rishq confirmed that the one who will pay the price for these brutal crimes and the war of genocide against our people since eleven months is Netanyahu and his extremist government and all the supporters of this aggression, holding the US administration and President Biden responsible for "daily crimes and the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip." He said that "history will remember Biden as he leaves the White House as a partner and supporter of the war criminals Netanyahu and his gang." Earlier today, Sunday, the Israeli army announced the discovery of the bodies of 6 prisoners in the Gaza Strip. The army spokesman, Daniel Hagari said in a post on the X platform: "The army and Shin Bet forces foun d and returned to Israel the bodies of the six kidnapped." He stated that the prisoners whose bodies were found are: "Carmel Gat, Aden Yerushalmi, Hersh Goldberg-Bolin, Alexander Lubnov, Almog Sarousi, and Warrant Officer Uri Danino." Adraee claimed that they were kidnapped by Hamas and killed by it "in captivity." Before talking about finding these bodies, Israel said that it still had 107 prisoners in Gaza, including a number of dead. However, Hamas said in previous statements that dozens of these prisoners were killed as a result of Israeli air strikes targeting areas in the Strip during the war that has been ongoing for the 11th consecutive month.
