New Delhi, 33 people were killed due to monsoon rains and floods that swept Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states in southern India. Indian media quoted Shanta Kumari, the chief official in Telangana, as saying, 'The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for 11 districts and more than 4,000 people have been moved to 110 relief camps in the state since last Monday, with more rain expected in the region.' In the state of Andhra Pradesh, relief teams are doing their best to evacuate residents from flooded areas.
