Hebron Governor Khaled Dudin received in his office today, Wednesday, the Italian Consul General in Jerusalem "Domenico Bellato" and the Consul "Camilla Romeo" in the presence of representatives of the economic sector in the governorate, in order to inform him of the conditions in Hebron Governorate and what it suffers from the practices of the occupation and its settlers. The governor welcomed the consul and his accompanying delegation and expressed his happiness for his interest in visiting the governorate, praising the Italian-Palestinian relations, describing them as a historical relationship between the two peoples, praising the support provided by Italy to the Palestinian people financially and politically, calling for more pressure to stop the genocide and violations against our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The governor reviewed the economic, health, educational and security situation, pointing out that the governorate is the economic capital of the country and is being subjected to a fierce attack, especially after the events of October 7, specifically in the old city, closed areas and Masafer Yatta, directing his thanks to the Italian government and people for their support to the Palestinian community with regard to the health and education sectors and citizens, calling for intensifying support and projects for these sectors in the future. For his part, the Consul thanked Governor Dudin for the information he provided, expressing his happiness to visit the Hebron Governorate, stressing his complete readiness to cooperate in order to develop bilateral relations, especially with regard to the economic sector, and that the Italian government will continue its support for the Palestinian people Source: Maan News Agency
