His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), was congratulated by Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Football Association (BFA), His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice-President of BFA, on the winning of KHK Racing’s colt, "Vandeek", in winning Sumbe Prix Morny (G1) after clinching the first place in the 1200-metre race at Deauville, France.
The president and vice-president affirmed that the victory of the KHK Racing team is a continuous success for equestrian sports in Bahrain, thanks to the support received from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
They extended their congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, for his interest in the sports sector in Bahrain, especially equestrian sports.
They wished HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad and the KHK Racing Team further success in the future.
