HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman attends the Royal Artillery Ramadan Football Championship for Officers

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa today attended the final match of the Royal Artillery Ramadan Football Championship for Officers, at the Royal Artillery Stadium. The championship is organised by the Royal Artillery and held under His Highness’s patronage.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman highlighted the important role the BDF plays in creating a collegial environment, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

His Highness commended the BDF’s support of local, regional and international sports competitions and noted their support motivates BDF personnel.

After winning the final match 4-2 on penalties, His Highness awarded the General Command Camp team the championship of the sixth edition of the Royal Artillery Ramadan Football Championship for Officers.

His Highness also honoured the Royal Bahraini Navy for coming in second place, and recognised the tournament's best player, top scorer, and best goalkeeper. The Commander of the Royal Artillery presented His Highness with a souvenir on this occasion.

His Highness congratulated and thanked the Commander of the Royal Artillery and all its members for organising the tournament, as well as the Bahrain Football Association and all participating entities, directorates, and teams that contributed to the tournament's success.

The Commander of the Royal Artillery, Major General Shaikh Khalifa bin Hassan Al Khalifa, and a number of unit commanders and senior Bahrain Defence Force officers also attended.
