Manama, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, on the occasion of Bahrain winning the gold medal in the women's 3000m steeplechase race at the Paris 2024 Olympics, achieved by Bahraini athlete Winfred Yavi. HH Shaikh Nasser emphasised that this achievement is a result of HM the King's unwavering support of the sports sector and directives to provide the best facilities for Bahraini sports.
