HM King attends Al Mawlid Al Nabawi celebration

Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa attended a celebration marking the anniversary of the Prophet's birth at the Sakhir Palace mosque after the afternoon prayer. The event was attended by Their Highnesses the King's sons, senior members of the Royal Family, the Chairman of the Shura Council, the Speaker of Council of Representatives, ministers, members of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, and scholars. Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, delivered a sermon reflecting on Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) life and teachings. He prayed for HM the King's health and for continued security and prosperity for Bahrain. Attendees extended their congratulations to HM the King and their best wishes on this occasion. HM the King expressed his appreciation and highlighted that the anniversary is an opportunity to further consolidate embracing the Prophet's teachings, which promote values of brotherhood, coexistence, and peace. HM reaffirmed Bahrain's dedicati on to values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence, rooted in Islamic teachings. HM the King also reiterated Bahrain's commitment to promoting the values of tolerance, respect, and peaceful coexistence, rooted in Islamic teachings. His Majesty prayed for continued peace, prosperity, and unity in Bahrain, the Arab world, and globally. Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), also attended the celebration at the women's section of the mosque, alongside members of the SCW.
