Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received heads and members of workers federations and unions in the kingdom, on the occasion of the celebration of Labour Day. His Majesty affirmed his pride in the active role of Bahraini workers and their contributions to advancing national development and the economy, lauding their innovation, competence and dedicated efforts. HM the King congratulated the workers of Bahrain on the occasion of Labour Day, extending his appreciation to every Bahraini worker devoting time and effort to contribute to the nation's progress and prosperity. His Majesty also expressed his appreciation for the role of unions and their contributions in defending the interests of Bahrain in Arab and international forums and showcasing national achievements. HM King Hamad highlighted the importance of the cooperation and partnership between all production parties to serve the interests of Bahrain's workers in the kingdom and contribute to the process of economic development. His Majesty lauded the achievements of federations and unions for the benefit of all workers. His Majesty the King underscored the kingdom's support for every effort that contributes to providing rights and guarantees to Bahraini workers, in appreciation of their vital role in supporting the national development process. His Majesty also praised the efforts of the Ministry of Labour and its efforts to train Bahraini youth and qualify them for various career paths, and implement programmes and plans to create more job opportunities. HM King Hamad affirmed that Bahraini citizens will always remain at the top of the kingdom's priorities and at the core of its goals, plans and development programmes. His Majesty expressed his pride in the people of Bahrain for their commitment and dedication in honouring their national responsibilities.
