Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met with His Excellency Mr. Najib Mikati, the Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic, on the occasion of his participation in the 33rd Bahrain Summit. His Excellency Mr. Mikati expressed gratitude for the invitation extended by His Majesty to participate in the Bahrain Summit. His Majesty the King welcomed the Lebanese Prime Minister to the Bahrain Summit and discussed the means to enhance cooperation between Bahrain and Lebanon across various domains. HM the King emphasised the strong relations between Bahrain and Lebanon and the keenness to develop them. His Majesty the King and HE the Lebanese Prime Minister expressed their wishes for the success of the Bahrain Summit and that it will yield fruitful results that contribute to consolidating Arab solidarity, peace, security, and stability in the region. His Majesty affirmed the kingdom's position towards Lebanon, emphasising support for initiatives that preserve its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. HE Mr. Mikati lauded the stance of Bahrain under the leadership of HM the King and the keenness for the unity of Lebanon.
