HM King receives royal family members, senior officials, achievers

Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received senior members of the royal family, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, senior officials, citizens, and distinguished achievers at Al Sakhir Palace. Following a recitation from the Holy Quran, His Majesty delivered a speech, welcoming the attendees and expressing appreciation for their loyalty and dedication to Bahrain. His Majesty expressed his pleasure in meeting the achievers and his pride in their achievements, which instil confidence and hope in Bahrain's promising future. HM the King extended special appreciation to the memorisers of the Holy Quran, expressing pride in their achievements and commending their presence at the event. His Majesty praised those who uphold Bahrain's tradition of national service, passed down from previous generations. He noted that this tradition has built the nation's gloryand has inspired teaching future generations with the noblest ideals. HM the King underscored Bahrain's ongoing commitment to pea ce and harmony, rooted in its steadfast defence of coexistence and tolerance. He highlighted Bahrain's firm stance on promoting stability and prosperity for humanity. His Majesty expressed pride in every national accomplishment, noting that serving the nation remains the highest honour. He regarded these achievements as vital in strengthening national unity and enriching Bahrain's future endeavours. On the occasion of the new academic year, His Majesty extended his congratulations to students in universities, government and private schools, and institutes, wishing them continued success and a year filled with academic excellence and distinction. Then, the achievers of the 28th edition of the Bahrain Quran Grand Prize, that is held under the patronage of His Majesty, greeted His Majesty. His Majesty congratulated them on their accomplishments, thanking them for their efforts in representing Bahrain, and wished them further success. The winners of the 28th edition of Bahrain Holy Quran Grand Prize under th e Holy Quran memorisation category: 1- Azzam Abdullah Saleh Mohammed - first place 2- Omar Hamed Abu Bakr - second place 3- Abdullah Tuwairish Sayyah Al Anzi - third place 4- Ruqaya Abdulmoumen Mohammed Abdulaal - first place 5- Inshrah Hamdi Mohammed Abu Talib - second place 6- Fathia Ali Makki Kadhem - third place 7- Fatima Abdulnabi Ahmed Mardhi Honoured participants in international Quran competitions 2022-2024 1- Mohammed Samir Mohammed Mujahed - won first place in the BRICS Holy Quran Award held in Kazan, Russia, for recitation category 2024 + the International Quran Recitation Competition (Global Reciter) in its fourth session, and in the Malaysia and Palestine competitions. 2- Mohammed Adnan Mohammed Al Omari - holder of the first place in the Dubai International Quran Award 2024, the memorization of the Holy Quran category + winner of the Algeria and Saudi Arabia competitions. 3- Amat Al Rahman Badi Mutahhar - runner-up in the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Award 2023 , the memorisation of the Holy Quran category. 4- Fahad Adnan Mohammed Fakhro - won second place in the Mohammed VI International Prize for Memorising and Reciting the Holy Quran 2022, the memorisation of the Holy Quran category. 5- Abdul Rahman Badi Mutahhar Abdullah - won third place in the King Abdulaziz International Holy Quran Contest 2022. 6- Hamza Moath Ahmed Ali - won fifth place in the Mohammed VI International Prize for Memorising and Reciting the Holy Quran 2022. 7- Israa Mahmoud Elsayed Hassan Dawood- won seventh place in the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Award 2022. Honoured participants in international Quran competitions 2022-2024 for people of determination 1- Noor Abdulrazak Shakeeb - won first place in the Dubai Holy Quran Competition for the People of Determination 2024, the memorisation of the Holy Quran category. 2- Ibrahim Othman Al Yafei - won first place in the Prince Sultan bin Salman Al Saud Quran Competition 2022, the memorization of Juz Amma category. T he attendees expressed their deep gratitude for meeting His Majesty the King and acknowledged His Majesty's keenness on maintaining close ties with the people of Bahrain. They praised HM the King's dedication to ensuring a decent life for all citizens across various levels. They also lauded the remarkable national achievements that have been realised under His Majesty's leadership over the years, benefiting the nation and its people.
