His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the Royal Bahrain Air Force (RBAF).
HM King Hamad was accompanied by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, BDF Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, and Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Force.
Upon arrival, HM the King was received by the Commander of the RBAF and senior RBAF staff.
HM the King was briefed on the duties and role of the RBAF and plans to continue providing it with latest weapons systems, as well as developing its weapons and facilities to raise the capabilities of the RBAF within the framework of strengthening the capabilities of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
HM King Hamad praised the efforts made by the RBAF personnel and their competence, combat readiness, and skills, noting their collaboration with other BDF commands to perform their duties to defend Bahrain and its citizens.
HM the King commended the continuous cooperation with other countries and partners to contribute to the security of the region and international peace.
