Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa was the first to greet HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty's Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, upon his return to Bahrain, after winning first place in the 160km World Endurance Championship held in Monpazier, France. This victory marks HH Shaikh Nasser's second consecutive world title, achieved with distinction among 118 riders from 39 countries, in another historic accomplishment for Bahrain. HM the King affirmed that the victory of HH Shaikh Nasser in securing first place at the World Endurance Championship is a new achievement added to his record of international successes. His Majesty also noted that HH Shaikh Nasser represented Bahraini and Arab youth admirably at this global event, serving as a strong motivation for them to pursue further sporting achievements, and providing inspiration for young people worldwide to aim for championships. Also present to welcome HH Shaikh N asser were HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty's Personal Representative, HH General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of the National Guard, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the General Sports Authority and the Bahrain Olympic Committee, along with Minister of the Royal Court Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, other royal family members, ministers, and dignitaries who greeted and congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser on his global sports achievement. Students from the Ministry of Education lined up to welcome HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. His Majesty congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser, expressing his pride in this significant achievement for Bahrain, which reflects HH Shaikh Nasser's continuous efforts, training, and high performance, showcasing his ability to excel in competitive domains. HM the King praised the outstanding level HH Shaikh Nasser displayed during the championship, his dete rmination, and his continuous pursuit of success in various competitions, always aiming to elevate Bahrain's name in regional and international sports forums. His Majesty expressed pride in HH Shaikh Nasser's achievements, which bring honour to all Bahrainis. His Majesty also commended the excellent participation of the Royal Team's riders in the international event and their commitment to representing Bahrain well by striving for the best results in all external competitions. He extended his congratulations to all Bahraini athletes who have recently achieved commendable results in regional and continental competitions, demonstrating their determination to reach podium finishes and raise Bahrain's flag high.
