HM King’s support motivates Bahraini youth to serve nation: Shura Chairman

Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, has extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the International Youth Day 2023, which is observed worldwide on August 12 under the theme “Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World”.

He also congratulated His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, on the same occasion.

Al Saleh asserted that HM the King’s constant support for Bahraini youth motivates them to engage in various paths of national action in order to optimise national gains, expressing pride in the wide-ranging achievements of Bahraini youth, locally and at the international level.

These achievements are the outcome of HM King Hamad’s directives to involve Bahraini youth and hone their skills by devising and implementing the necessary plans and programmes, he said.

The Shura Chairman paid tribute to the government, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for its great role in supporting and empowering Bahraini youth.

He also commended the tremendous efforts exerted by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to develop Bahraini youth’s skills through launching qualitative programmes and initiatives.

He also paid tribute to HH Shaikh Khalid bin for following up on Bahraini youth’s affairs and encouraging them to be creative and innovative.

Al Saleh affirmed that the Shura Council will continue to develop the youth-related legislation and laws in order to strengthen their multi-faceted national roles and responsibilities.

He confirmed that the Shura Council will carry on its constructive cooperation and coordination with the government to increase laws that develop Bahraini youth and consolidate their role in achieving sustainable development goals.
