The second edition of the Housing Finance Exhibition, currently held at the City Centre is proving a success.
The ten-day expo, which was opened on June 15 amid massive turnout is scheduled to run until Saturday (June 24).
Housing and Urban Planning Minister Amna bint Ahmed Al Romaihi today inspected the exhibition which is driving thousands of visitors, particularly the "Tasheel" pavilion.
Al Romaihi stressed the importance of such exhibitions in providing immediate services to citizens, noting the ministry will direct its efforts, plans and programs to ensure housing for citizens without waiting periods.
In a statement on the sidelines of the inspection visit, she said that many units, flats and land plots provided by the real estate companies have already been booked.
She added that more than 10,000 real estate properties are being showcased at prices which are commensurate with the funding solutions in the coming period.
She stressed the ministry's keenness to hold regular meetings with representatives of the real estate sector as partners in providing immediate services to citizens.
She commened the response shown by development companies, stressing common desire to expand the provision of real estate suitable for financing during the next stage.
