His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received a cable of congratulations from the Minister of Information Affairs, HE Dr Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, following the designation of Manama as the “Capital of Arab Media” in 2024 during the 53rd regular session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, held recently in Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco.
HE Dr Al Noaimi highlighted that the move has added to the wide-ranging achievements attained by the kingdom across various sectors, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HE Dr Al Noaimi indicated that the choice of Manama as the 2024 Arab Media Capital is the outcome of the regional and global respect and appreciation enjoyed by the national media thanks to the support and care of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HE Al Noaimi further noted His Royal Highness's commitment to developing the media sector, based on far-reaching visions on consolidating the freedom of opinion and expression, which are core pillars of the Kingdom's comprehensive development.
HE Dr Al Noaimi pledged the Ministry's commitment to achieving the Kingdom's national goals and contributions to enhancing the kingdom’s status and progress, under the leadership of HM the King.
