Human Rights Monitor Report: Israeli Forces Accused of Attacking Displaced Civilians in Khan Younis.

Khan Younis: The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor revealed today that the Israeli army set fire to displaced people in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killing 20 Palestinians most of them children and injuring 18 others with burns and wounds after bombing their tents. According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli fighter jets and helicopters launched multiple missiles yesterday evening at the tents of displaced people in Khan Younis, an area the Israeli army claims to be a "safe humanitarian zone," without any warning. The attack burned the displaced alive in their makeshift tents, killing 20 civilians, including many children and women, and injuring 18 more. The monitor stressed that the bombing clearly indicated the Israeli army's intent to harm civilians. Helicopter-launched missiles targeted the displaced during their evacuation, and subsequent airstrikes, spanning a 700-meter area, directly hit tents and set them on fire, leading to more casualties. The Israeli occupation continues its efforts to create c haos in Gaza by eliminating internal security forces. The human rights organization also reported disturbing scenes from its field team, who witnessed the charred and dismembered bodies of children, highlighting an unprecedented level of brutality, with the use of incendiary bombs in an area densely populated by displaced people. The monitor condemned this attack as part of a larger genocide carried out by the Israeli army against Palestinians in Gaza, with targeted destruction in areas falsely deemed "safe," causing widespread death and injury among displaced families who were forced out of their homes and pushed into these areas to be bombed once again. The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor revealed that on September 10th, Israeli warplanes dropped three MK-84 bombs, made in the USA, on a tent settlement for displaced people in the Khan Younis area of Gaza, in the middle of the night while they were sleeping. The bombs created large craters, burying about 20 tents with families inside. The initial d eath toll exceeded 60, including both fatalities and injuries. The use of these destructive American-made bombs in a densely packed area of tents is clear evidence of Israel's intent to maximize civilian casualties, with no prior warning for evacuation. The monitor further stated that Israeli aircraft carried out numerous airstrikes on the tents Al-Mawasi area, burning and killing dozens of Palestinians, burying many others in the sand. This represents a policy of mass killing through horrific methods, amounting to genocide. The report emphasized that the international silence regarding such unprecedented atrocities targeting civilians is deeply shameful. It effectively sends a green light to Israel to continue its policy of mass killing and extermination of Palestinians. The Euro-Mediterranean Monitor also condemned the United States as complicit in these crimes, as it continues to supply Israel with destructive and incendiary weapons, fully aware of their use in killing civilians. The report called for ac countability for those responsible for these decisions, who are complicit in these crimes. Additionally, the monitor pointed out that Israel's systematic approach to targeting civilians reflects a clear policy of exterminating Palestinian civilians across Gaza. Finally, the monitor called for the accountability of countries that are complicit in these crimes, whether through military, intelligence, political, legal, financial, or media support, urging them to be held responsible for contributing to the continuation of these atrocities.
