Jerusalem: Hundreds of settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.

According to Qatar News Agency, 493 colonists entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound through the Mughrabi Gate, conducted provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals.

For years, the Al-Aqsa Mosque has experienced daily incursions by settlers, who are protected by Israeli occupation forces. These incursions occur in two shifts, morning and evening, as part of efforts to impose changes to the status quo at the mosque and divide it temporally.
