Manama, Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, met with Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment, Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, during his official visit to the Kingdom. The meetings focused on strengthening cooperation between Bahrain and Hungary in areas such as energy, trade, education, and youth empowerment, building on the existing partnerships between the two nations. During the visit, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Education and Hungary's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to offer Bahraini students scholarships under the "Stipendium Hungaricum" programme. These scholarships will allow students to pursue higher education at leading universities in Hungary, with the option to study in Hungarian or other languages. This agreement refl ects Bahrain's ongoing efforts to provide its citizens with world-class educational opportunities, aimed at fostering a skilled workforce to contribute to the Kingdom's development.
