Abdullah bin Adel Fakhroo, Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with winner of StartUp Bahrain.
StartUp Bahrain was launched in collaboration with the Industry and Commerce Ministry, the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), the Economic Development Board, and Bahrain Development Bank.
The programme is designed to support emerging Bahraini enterprises that have the potential for growth and expansion, which provides opportunities for access to financing and investment.
It aims to train entrepreneurs on the basics of offering presentations to investors, to enhance growth opportunities for emerging projects by presenting their entrepreneurial ideas to investors to obtain the necessary financing.
The minister praised the winners for turning their ideas into successful commercial projects, highlighting that Bahrain's attractive business infrastructure and plentiful incentives made it a hub for promising projects, affirming the ministry’s great support of Bahraini entrepreneurs.
