Intelligence Directorate frees a kidnapped woman in Baghdad and arrests four wanted men in Kirkuk on charges of terrorism and extortion

Detachments of the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the liberation of a kidnapped woman in Baghdad and the arrest of four wanted persons in Kirkuk on charges of terrorism and extortion.

A statement by the Security Media Cell stated: It is with separate duties carried out by detachments of the Intelligence and Security Directorate of Kirkuk in separate areas of Kirkuk Governorate, which resulted in the arrest of four persons wanted by the judiciary, one of whom is accused according to terrorist cases, and the others are wanted by the judiciary according to the provisions of Articles (316, 431, extortion, 430) of the Penal Code Where they were arrested through the intensification of the intelligence effort and the boycott of the information received, and in coordination with the Kirkuk Operations Command Commando Regiment and the Kirkuk Police Commander’s storming force, where all necessary legal measures were taken against them.

On the other hand, the detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate, in cooperation with the Baghdad Operations Command, were able to free a kidnapped woman who was found in the house of one of the wanted persons in Al-Ghazaliya district in Baghdad.
