Manama, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister, received Andrea Catalano, the newly appointed Italian Ambassador to Bahrain. The Director-General of Traffic attended the meeting.

The minister welcomed the envoy, hailing the bilateral ties between the two countries. He noted the significance of reinforcings security and police-related cooperation, coordination, and exchange of expertise. He wished the ambassador all the best in his new assignments.
