Manama, The dangerous escalation, wide-span tensions, and the current exceptional circumstances in the region require vigilance, awareness, steadfastness, and national cohesion from all members of society, the Interior Minister said. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, emphasised that these values, that the Bahraini community has always been known for, have been key to overcoming hardships and challenges. He added that in times of crisis, Bahraini citizens demonstrate responsibility in safeguarding security and public order, as partners in the nation's stability. The Minister stressed that unity and a heightened sense of responsibility are essential in this critical period. He emphasised that national loyalty was not merely spoken words that are subject to changing circumstances, but a deeply ingrained value passed through generations. He said that the sense of belonging and loyalty to the nation were principles rooted in Bahrain's societal culture, national identity, a nd loyalty to its leadership. General Shaikh Rashid noted that Bahraini citizens have consistently met the expectations of the nation and its leadership, showing resilience in the face of challenges and remaining vigilant against any threats to the country's security and stability. The minister called on parents and those involved in domestic affairs, who understand the gravity of the current situation, to take responsibility for safeguarding the nation's security and its strong social fabric.
