Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have conducted a series of detentions since Sunday's evening until Monday's morning, detaining at least 30 Palestinians from the West Bank, including children and freed captives. In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) said that the detentions took place in Ramallah, Jenin, and A-Khalil, while the rest of the detentions were distributed among the governorates of Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Nablus, Ariha, and Tubas. The statement explained that ongoing Israeli incursions involve widespread raids, severe beatings, threats against detainees and their families, as well as instances of property destruction and sabotage in civilian homes. The IOF continues to implement systematic arrests, as one of its most prominent established policies, which escalated in an unprecedented manner after Oct. 7, 2023, not only in terms of the level of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes commit ted.
