The Head of the Europe Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bakr Ahmed Al-Jaf, received the Austrian Ambassador, Andrea Nasi, at the ministry's headquarters in Baghdad. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that during the meeting, bilateral relations between Iraq and Austria and ways to enhance joint cooperation were discussed. The economic and trade cooperation between the two countries was also discussed, as well as the importance of opening a direct air transport line between Baghdad and Vienna to facilitate the transport of passengers, goods and commodities.
