Baghdad: Prime Minister of Iraq Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani met today with Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion of Oman, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, who is visiting Baghdad. The two discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties, particularly in the economic and trade sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Sudani expressed Iraq's desire to deepen economic and trade relations with Oman, emphasizing the progress in Iraq's investment climate, especially after recent comprehensive reforms. The discussions also covered enhancing cooperation across various sectors and addressing the economic challenges facing the region.
