The Minister of Communications, Hiyam Al-Yasiri, discussed, today, Thursday, with the Omani Minister of Communications, Saeed bin Hamoud Al-Maawali, cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of developing the communications sector, digital transformation, and electronic automation. A statement by the Ministry of Communications stated that Al-Yasiri met, today, Thursday, in the Omani capital, Muscat, with the Omani Minister of Communications, Saeed bin Hamoud Al-Maawali, and during the meeting, joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries was discussed, especially in the field of developing the communications sector, digital transformation, and electronic automation. The statement explained that during the meeting, they also discussed developing ways of working and providing capabilities that are being adopted in the field of artificial intelligence and its great importance at the present time in keeping pace with major technological developments in the world. The statement indic ated that there was also a discussion of transit projects and the passage of capacity through Iraq via the Arab Gulf states and the role of Omani companies wishing to invest in this field.
