The Iraqi Ambassador to Kuwait, Al-Manhal Al-Safi, praised today the Kuwaiti authorities' rapid interest in our national team star, Ayman Hussein, who was transferred to Kuwait to receive treatment, stressing the stability of his health condition. The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted Al-Safi as appreciating the Kuwaiti authorities' great interest in the player Hussein's condition and providing him with all health services, which contributed to the stability of his health condition, adding that "the player's condition is stable and he receives great care and attention at the highest levels." This came after the visit of the two Kuwaiti ministers, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi and Minister of Health Ahmed Al-Awadhi, who visited our national football team player Ayman Hussein, who was transferred this morning, Friday, to the Kuwaiti (Al-Sabah) Hospital from (Basra), following an injury he sustained yesterday evening, Thursday, during the nat ional team's match with its Omani counterpart in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. After checking on the health of the Iraqi player, Minister Al-Mutairi expressed his wishes for his safety and health and to return to the stadiums soon, stressing the speed of the Kuwaiti authorities' response in transferring the player to Kuwait to receive treatment and conduct comprehensive medical examinations. He praised what the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health provided the best health care for the player, which contributed to the stability of his health condition, appreciating Minister Al-Awadhi's interest and directives to the ministry's cadres and crews to provide all medical services to the player. For his part, the Kuwaiti Minister of Health confirmed that as soon as the Iraqi side requested to transfer the player to Kuwait to receive treatment, the ministry responded immediately and carried out its procedures according to the health condition, expressing his hope for the player's speedy recovery and return to practicing his favorite sport.
