Baghdad: Iraqi Defense Minister Thabet Mohammed Saeed Al Abbasi discussed on Tuesday with Commander of the NATO Mission in Iraq Lukas Schweizer, joint cooperation between the two sides. The discussions were a part of ongoing efforts to strengthen military ties and enhance security measures in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting also focused on training plans aimed at developing the capabilities of the Iraqi army. This collaboration is seen as a pivotal step in bolstering the operational readiness and efficiency of Iraqi forces, ensuring they are better equipped to handle security challenges.
