The Irish Chief of Staff, Sean Clancy, confirmed that the firing of a Zionist tank at a UNIFIL observation tower in southern Lebanon was a deliberate act. Clancy said: "The Zionist fire that hit a UN peacekeeping force site in southern Lebanon (UNIFIL) on Friday seemed "deliberate given the circumstances." Clancy added in an interview with the Irish Public Broadcasting Corporation: "Firing from a tank at a observation tower, which is a very small target, must be very deliberate. This is direct fire, and from a military perspective, this is not an accidental act, but a direct act." He said: "I do not believe the Zionist entity's claim that the strike was unintentional." He stressed that the Zionist strike is a flagrant violation and reckless behavior that cannot be tolerated." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
