Israel Continues its Aggression on Jenin, its Camp for 59th Consecutive Day

Jenin: The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the 59th consecutive day, amid forced displacement of Palestinians after forcing them to leave their homes at gunpoint.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA) reported that the occupation forces bulldozed 100 percent of the streets in Jenin camp and nearly 80 percent of the streets in Jenin city, while the residents of 3,200 homes in the camp were displaced.

WAFA pointed out that the occupation authorities issued a demolition notice yesterday for approximately 66 homes in various neighborhoods of Jenin, under the pretext of widening streets and paving new roads in the camp, to allow the entry of its military vehicles. It noted that the occupation forces burned a number of homes inside the camp and continue to close the street leading to Jenin Governmental Hospital from the camp entrance with earth mounds.

During the 59 days, the occupation forces arrested 227 Palestinians from the Jenin Governorate while conducting dozens of field investigations.
