Beirut, The Israeli entity continued its bombing of villages and towns in southern Lebanon. Field sources told Qatar News Agency that the artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of the town of Naqoura Tuesday morning. Israeli forces fired heavy machine-gun shells towards the town of Al-Wazzani last night. The outskirts of the town of Aitaroun were also subjected to artillery shelling. The Israeli entity deliberately attacks civilians, especially in the main street adjacent to the Blue Line from Naqoura to Bint Jbeil, and it seeks to achieve a geographical buffer zone devoid of residents similar to what was previously called the border strip before the year 2000. The Israeli entity continues its escalation against the towns and villages of southern Lebanon, coinciding with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, which has resulted in the deaths and injuries of civilians and forced hundreds of families to flee their homes.
