Israeli Forces Intensify Bombing in Gaza, Causing Civilian Casualties

Gaza: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have increased their shelling operations across various areas of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of five members of a Palestinian family and leaving others missing following the bombing of a house in the Al-Sanati area, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Additionally, a Palestinian was shot dead by IOF in the Bir Salem area in Rafah, located in the south of the Gaza Strip, where several people sustained injuries from the bombing.

According to Qatar News Agency, the IOF targeted another house on Abu Halima Street in Beit Lahiya, north of the Gaza Strip, causing multiple civilian casualties. The northern region of Nuseirat refugee camp was also bombed, injuring several Palestinians. Local medical sources reported that over 37 individuals were killed, and numerous others were injured in the airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation in Rafah and Khan Younis cities.

Dr. Marwan Al Sultan, Director of the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, highlighted the challenges faced during a difficult night, with hospitals receiving approximately 43 martyrs and 82 wounded. In his press statements, Dr. Al Sultan emphasized the struggle of medical teams to cater to the overwhelming number of wounded civilians, describing the situation in Gaza as catastrophic amid ongoing violence.

Dr. Al Sultan also pointed out the severe shortages faced by hospitals in terms of fuel, supplies, medicines, and oxygen, noting that the occupation had previously destroyed critical oxygen machines and other essential medical equipment.
