Israeli entity renewed Saturday their aerial and artillery bombardment on villages and towns in southern Lebanon, causing material damage. Field sources reported to the Qatar News Agency that Israeli forces shelled the border village of Meiss El Jabal, resulting in a fire at the sites of the Lebanese Army and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The same sources indicated that civil defense teams were dispatched to extinguish the fire. Meanwhile, last night, Israeli forces targeted the towns of Kfar Kila and Kfarchouba with mortar shells and deliberately set fires in the Khaleh Warda forest on the outskirts of Aita Al Shaab. The Israeli escalation on southern Lebanese towns and villages continues alongside their ongoing brutal assault on the Gaza Strip since October 7, which has resulted in civilian casualties and forced hundreds of families to flee their homes.
